Two things:

1 Clients that don’t know the difference between a good quality builder and a poor quality builder.

2 Builders that don’t understand good value for the client. For example: the use of a $300 exterior door. For an extra $45 one can get a far more airtight door that is built better and will outlast the cheaper one, as well as save the client money for years to come in heating costs alone, all at the same time.
